Naomi Briones Arcadia Chamber of Commerce President

Naomi Briones – Incoming President

Naomi brings more than 20 years’ experience in hospitality management, building relationships, organizing events and meetings to the  ongoing purpose of the Arcadia Chamber. Naomi’s goal as the incoming President is to assist in growing business relationships and memberships that the Arcadia Chamber prides itself on and to continuing pivoting the ways that the Chamber

engages it members and the community, during the ever changing times.

Naomi is currently open to a new opportunity where she is able to utilize her business savvy knowledge and make a difference to the business/team she joins. Naomi’s favorite pastimes are cooking, having great meals with friends and traveling with her family and boyfriend Joe.

Jennifer Stone – Vice President

Jennifer Stone had owned and operated her business, Imprintability, going on 15 years. Her slogan is, “You Can’t be Everywhere… But Your Logo Can!” Jennifer’s passion is helping businesses and organizations brand and market themselves in unique ways, be it through creating a logo or picking the perfect marketing pieces. Vicki Knight

Vicki Knight – Treasurer

Vicki Knight is the owner of Century Rooter Service and Plumbing in Monrovia. Their slogan; “If it doesn’t flush, we will come in a rush!” Vicki is no stranger to the Executive Board, as she served as President in 2014. Vicki also is on the Ambassador committee, welcoming new businesses to the Chamber. She also has been with the Chamber for over 19 years and brings experience and energy to the Board.

When Vicki is not running after non-flushing toilets, you’ll find her and her husband, Doug, eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Outback Steakhouse.

Francine Chiu – Secretary

Francine Chiu is the CEO/National Director at Star Seven Financial Services, a company offering total financial needs analysis through a network of experienced professionals. Francine was President of the Arcadia Chinese Association from 2014 to 2016, past Finance Chair of Lucky Baldwin District BSA, and part of the Rotary Club of Arcadia. Francine also hosts the Arcadia Chamber’s Connect and Prosper, a networking lunch held completely in Mandarin.

When Francine is not playing with money, you’ll always find her at a community event, enthusiastically showing her support.

Sue Cook – Past President

Sue Cook has been a member of the Arcadia Chamber for almost 10 years, serving on the Executive Board since 2017 and as Chamber President in 2020. A 24-year resident of Arcadia, Sue loves helping her community. Most recently, she served on the Board of the Arcadia Police Foundation and is Past-President of the Arcadia Coordinating Community Council.

She served in many PTA positions, including President at Hugo Reid Elementary School earning the Honorary Service Award and VSP Award. She was a Girl Scout leader for her daughter’s troop for six years and has served in numerous positions along side her husband, Mike Cook, with Arcadia Coast Little League, Boy Scouts and AHS Athletic Boosters.

Sue has enjoyed a successful and diverse career. She spent over 25 years in corporate sales and marketing with Union Oil Company, Crocker Bank and See’s Candies. She started SoozEvents in 2008 working in Event Production and Project Management and ultimately served as Executive Director at the Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation creating an infrastructure for the center and the foundation that lives on today. Sue is currently enjoying a successful career as a Realtor with Coldwell Banker serving buyers, sellers and investors along the 210 corridor.

When Sue is not helping someone find their dream home, she loves spending time with her family – especially her grandkids. Sue’s daughter, Kristen Cook Mora, is currently a teacher at First Avenue Middle School and has three children. Her son, Tom Cook, served four years in the US Navy aboard the USS Nimitz and is married with one child. She enjoys entertaining, travel, creative projects and spending time outdoors.
